DETAILS:
Earlier this week, we received final approval to proceed with the Interior Renovation of our Church Building. All is moving in the right direction and very quickly! Father Wilke and the Renovation Committee has reviewed all aspects of the renovation and will continue to review the project as it proceeds. Conewago Construction, our contractor, will begin this week.
As we begin this exciting phase, please keep our project in your prayers – that all will be done according to God’s plan and that we will remain faithful, forgiving, and flexible in these next few weeks.
Some notes to keep in mind as we begin the renovations:

-- The Church Offices have been relocated to the St. Elizabeth Center, on the lower level of the Church Building at the west (Reehling Road) side of the building.
-- Both Daily and Weekend Masses, starting Monday (tomorrow) will be relocated as follows:

-- The Daily Masses will be at 9 am Monday through Thursday and Saturday Morning in the Youth Room, under the Parish Offices at the east (School) side of the Church Building.
-- The Friday Parish Daily Mass will be at 7:30 am in the Youth Room to allow for a separate Mass for the School Children on their schedule in Capitani Hall.
-- The Saturday Evening and Sunday Morning Masses will be held in the Fr. Capitani Social Hall.
--The times of the Weekend Masses will remain the same.
--The times for the Sacrament of Confession will remain the same.
Locations for Confessions:
Monday: Youth Room Office
Saturday: Capitani Social Hall (we ask that penitents follow the signs when they enter)

PARKING for weekend Masses – all who are able are asked to use the ‘Church Parking Lot’ and walk down the exterior back stairs and around the building: this will save the parking spaces at the School and Outreach Building and the parking areas along the hill that are closest to the Capitani Hall for our visitors and parishioners who have mobility issues and families with small children.
There will be weekly updates and pictures on the project sent out using Flocknote and on the Parish Website.
Again, thank you all for your generous support and many prayers – Please remain faithful, forgiving, and flexible in these next few weeks.
The goal is to return to the Church for Easter!
BRIGHTEN OUR FOUNDATION
Since St. John the Baptist Catholic Church was founded, generations of our parish family have focused on fulfilling our mission to “ give witness to the presence of the kingdom of God in ourselves, our families,

our parish, the local community, and the world.” Today, this is needed more than ever, as we seek to meet the evolving needs of our parish, community, and world. The St. John’s family has a rich history of giving generously to further God’s ministry on earth. We now have the opportunity to give in a way that will bless both this generation and future generations, not only at St. John’s but also in our community, both near and far. This is truly an opportunity to Brighten Our Foundation!
PARISH SUPPORT
St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, through the Brighten Our Foundation Capital Campaign, respectfully requests your prayerful consideration of a gift and/or pledge to help fund these much-needed
projects. This effort helps not only our parish today, but also all those members, families, youth, and community members who will look to St. John’s for mission and service in the future. Whatever your decision, your thoughtful response and prayers will be appreciated by all who count on St. John’s to continue our mission to give witness to the presence of the kingdom of God.

Brighten Our Foundation Prayer
O God, creator and giver of all
things, bless our parish family,
strengthen our faith, and grant
us the spirit of sacrifice. With
your grace, may we revive the
gift of our faith, restore our
parish facilities, and rejoice in
the blessings you still have in
store for us. May we glorify
you and grow in love for
you as a community of faith
through Christ our Lord. Amen.
