“He said in reply, ‘Have you not read that from the beginning the Creator “made them male and female” and said, “For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh”? So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore, what God has joined together, no human being must separate.’”

- Matthew 19:4-6

Receiving the Sacrament of Marriage

We are excited to get to know couples and work with you as you plan on entering into the Sacrament of Marriage!! We ask those couples to please follow these guidelines:

  • Please contact the Parish Office to begin the marriage preparation process, and this should be done at least 9 months before the date of the wedding (please check for availability before scheduling the date or reserving other venues!).

    • A shorter timeline is possible, but it should be for an exceptional reason because the marriage preparation process is a beautiful, informative, and grace-filled way to prepare for this lifetime commitment to one another before God, the Church, and the world!

  • A priest will be working with you as well as providing many resources and opportunities to grow and learn as you prepare for this sacrament.
