Parish Ministries

Adult Choir

Contact:

Nelle Bailey

This group prepares a blend of traditional and current choral music for the parish liturgies, feasts, and holidays throughout the year. This group meets weekly to rehearse and sings most weekends at 9:00am Mass.

There is no regular weekly meeting for rehearsal but there is a sign-up for availability for individuals who are interested in this ministry. Due to the very individual and essential nature of this music ministry, singers are expected to audition and be approved of and trained by the music director.

Cantor

Contact:

Nelle Bailey

The ministry of the Cantor is to lead the congregational singing in the absence of a choir. The Cantor must have a firm background as a solo singer and is responsible for much self-preparation under the guidance and help of the music director. Cantors are also needed for weddings and funerals.

Daystar
